Shell art became popular in the 1830's and remained so until the turn of the century. I have accumulated a small collection of shell art pieces ranging from boxes and letter holders to picture frames and a snowglobe.
I love this stuff. You have an amazing collection. There is an online auction selling them this week (at the-saleroom.com, by anthemion auctions for around £40 for three or 4 vintage pieces) but I've never bought at auction and I don't like the idea of commission etc. Will you be selling any of these in the near future or do you know where is the best place to get them?
